Baguio Cathedral

The Our Lady of the Atonement Cathedral or the Baguio Cathedral is one of the most recognizable religious structures in the city. Nestled atop Mt. Mary Hill, it boasts an impressive pink facade, twin pointed spires, and attractive stained glass windows. It gives a fine view of the city and serves as a popular place for both worship and tourism.

The construction of the Baguio Cathedral was an early 20th-century affair that survived World War II and, for a fact, has served as a refuge, a place of reflection, and a house of worship ever since. It has a large, airy interior and still holds quite frequent Masses, hence being an important spiritual venue for locals. The steps that go up toward the cathedral and its surroundings make it an appealingly peaceful retreat for visitors.

Being near Session Road, the main commercial street of Baguio, it is easily accessible and should be a must-visit for whoever delves into the city.
